These two unsettling tracks—featuring the dark tones of the cello and the koto—were inspired by Kyūsaku Yumeno’s novel *Dogra Magra*. Please immerse yourself in the labyrinthine soundscape woven from dissonance.
【About the Story】
Dogra Magra is a novel that Kyūsaku Yumeno spent over a decade writing;
published in 1935, it is hailed as one of the "Three Great Masterpieces of Bizarre Japanese Detective Fiction."
The story unfolds through the eccentric and sinister theories of Professor Masaki—such as the ideas that "the brain is not the seat of thought"
and that "a fetus relives the history of human evolution (as a nightmare) within the mother's womb."
Academic papers, ritual chants, and personal journals intertwine in a complex web,
blurring the boundaries between reality and hallucination, sanity and madness.
The very structure of the work acts as a device (a form of metafiction) that draws the reader into a labyrinth.
