DIVE In -flashmob

As part of the DIVE IN – Discovering Democracy and Civic Engagement in Europe Youth Exchange, young people from Romania, Hungary, Turkey, and Greece took democracy and civic engagement into the public space through a creative and energetic flashmob in Horezu, Romania. The flashmob was designed to raise awareness about the importance of active citizenship, participation, inclusion, diversity, and making our voices heard. Through movement, music, teamwork, and a shared message, participants invited the local community to stop, watch, connect, and reflect on the role that young people can play in shaping society. Bringing together young people from different cultural backgrounds, the activity was also a powerful example of intercultural cooperation. What started as a learning activity within the Youth Exchange became a public moment of connection, visibility, and positive energy in the community. DIVE IN is about more than learning what democracy means.
