Branching Out: COSWAP Workforce Development Grant Overview and Q&A

The Colorado Strategic Wildfire Action Program (COSWAP) was created in 2021 to support fuels reduction efforts through workforce development grants and landscape resilience investments. Since its inception, the program has funded $10.3 million toward 73 workforce development projects and $20.5 million towards 24 cross boundary landscape projects. COSWAP is currently accepting applications for its Workforce Development Grant through November 1, with $4 million available. In this session, we’re joined by speakers Courtney Young, Program Administrator, and Roberta Anderson, Program Assistant, as they introduce COSWAP and share more about the Workforce Development Grant opportunity. Then we’ll move into questions from the audience to support you in the grant application process.
