LILLEHAMMER IN SUMMER - Ski Jumpers in Action!, Town & Massive Open Air Museum (Maihaugen) NORWAY

We continue our Scandinavian/Nordic Road trip with our last stop in NORWAY, the Olympic town of LILLEHAMMER 🇳🇴 In this episode, we leave our campsite at Lunde and make a stunning journey to Lillehammer, it's a 260 km drive, we stop off at the iconic Stegstein Lookout for beautiful views of the Aurlandsfjord. Once in Lillehammer, we explore Maihaugen—Norway's largest open-air museum. We step back in time to view 13th-century stave churches, traditional houses with grass roofs, and even get to wander through the childhood home of Queen Sonja of Norway! Next up, we visit the legendary Olympic Ski Jump. We climbed over 600 steps to the very top and got incredibly lucky watching the official Norwegian ski jumping team practicing their terrifying jumps live! To finish off our Norwegian adventure, we brave the torrential rain to explore Lillehammer's historic Storgata (main street) and head down to the peaceful shores of Lake Mjøsa. This is our final stop in Norway before we head back over the border to Sweden!
