Hi and welcome back to the channel.
Swindon Model Railway Clubs "ModRail" exhibition was held in the conference room that forms part of STEAM: Museum of the GWR. Incorporated within the exhibition was a Narrow Gauge Group exhibition.
There was a great variety of layouts and plenty of trade support, selling plenty of quality items - new and used.
This film has been put together a bit "on the hoof" as I was actually exhibiting and manning a sales stand at this show! My new micro layout, Phantom Quarry appears in the film - this was its first time out at a show and I'm pleased to say, it behaved impecabbly - well, it should, its so simple.
So, apologies if your layout doesnt appear in the film, but here are the ones that did -
Abbots Morton - 4mm OO scale branch terminus, steam / diesel transition period.
Avebury - another 4mm OO scale branch terminus, big four era.
Sans Souchi - 2mm N gauge Swiss mountains.
Bovington Jn - 2mm N gauge through station, BR steam era.
Charlton - 4mm OO gauge modern image, through station.
Wood Street - 7mm O gauge industrial shunting layout.
Stonebridge Wharf & Tusk Quarry - Sm32 industrial narrow gauge - look out for the tipping wagons.
Yellow Ridge Uranium Mine - Gn15 industrial narrow gauge - more tipping of wagons here!
Cactus Creek Silver Mine - On18 industrial narrow gauge - a very neat, compact layout.
Melin Dolrhyd - 4mm OO9 scale. Featured recently in a couple of my films, but the quality of scenic work is outstanding.
Ive also featured a Trix Twin Railway, who's name I cant find and a Hornby Dublo 3 rail, again, no name, sorry!
I hope you enjoy this shorter than usual film.
