Twin Peaks Diesel Gala - Peak Rail & Ecclesbourne Valley Railway - April 2023

The first of it's kind, the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway and Peak Rail in Derbyshire have teamed up to provide a weekend of diesel action with heritage buses connecting both railways. Visitors were able to travel on both railways, using the buses to connect, with only one ticket. This video sums up the whole event, seeing every loco there was to see, a Driver for Fiver on Avonside RS8, and a walk around Rowsley Yard. These clips were all filmed from the stations and lineside locations of both railways. With Duffield Station on the EVR closed due to a landslip, trains were operating Top n' Tail between Shottle and Duffield Holloway Road, creating unique opportunities to see shorter sets and get clips of the trains leaving Holloway Road (near Duffield). There was an immense amount of diesel locos operating throughout the weekend which I'll list now.
