My all time favorite Doditall trek.

From a peaceful morning at Dodital Lake campsite to a steep 360-degree peak climb and losing our dinner—this final leg of our trek had a bit of everything! We woke up early at Dodital, packed our camp, and made our way up toward Darwa Pass (4,150m / 13,615 ft). Leaving our heavy main bags at a small room near the campsite, we pushed up with just our daypacks. The steep ascent up the ridge at Darwa Top gave us incredible 360° panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks! The descent was tough on tired legs, but on the way down, we had a magical moment—encountering a massive stag right in the wild. We made our way back to Manjhi campsite to pitch our tents, gather firewood, and cook. Having lost our last portion of rice, dinner was strictly capsicum and potatoes, but sitting by the campfire on our last night in the wilderness made up for it. The final morning had one last surprise: Ramlal, the local mountain dog, stole my friend's entire breakfast! Complete with hungry bellies and great memories, we trekked all the way back to Agoda village. Hope you enjoy this final chapter of the journey!
