More than twenty years ago, I heard Mehdi Hassan Ji sing "Ab Ke Hum Bichhade" for the first time. It touched me in a way that's hard to explain. I found myself returning to it again and again, each listen making you love it more and more. The composition came together beautifully. It stays close — about ninety five percent — to how I originally composed it on guitar.
