The defense never called a witness. Every point it made, it made right here on cross, one State witness at a time, 28 of them across seven days.
This is State of Ohio v. Caleb Flynn, the Staged Scene trial. Ashley Flynn was shot and killed in her Tipp City, Ohio home on February 16, 2026. Her husband Caleb told 911 an intruder did it. Prosecutors allege the scene was staged. He pleaded not guilty, and through every question in this video he was presumed innocent.
L. Patrick Mulligan and Emily Smith had one tool for seven days, and this is all of it, whole and in trial order. Listen for the same questions coming back: what was never tested, never searched, never recorded. My question for you: when a case leans this hard on what was not done, is that a gap in the investigation or a gap in the defense? Decide as you watch.
Some of these crosses run under two minutes. Alleigha Botner's runs close to an hour, and Special Agent David Hammond's and Det. Sgt. Michael Morgan's about half an hour each. Watch Dr. Bryan Casto closely: his report calls the range of fire indeterminate, and in the same answer he says the wound paths would imply a very close range. Both halves are in the record, so both are in this video.
