This is a weird concept that I've had for a while. I've transcribed multiple violin concertos to be played on piano, but never the other way around. I tried this once with Beethoven's 4th piano concerto on violin, and I feel like I did an okay job, but I never felt satisfied with how much is lost by reducing a multivoice instrument part down to a single/at-most-double voice instrument like violin. And really, the solution was to make it for multiple instruments. Schumann has done multiple string quartets (one in A Minor too), and there have been multiple concertos involving multiple instruments, including Beethoven's Triple Concerto for piano, violin, and cello; so essentially, it's just a concerto for piano trio. And given the absurdity of contemporary concertos like Bartók's Concerto for Orchestra or Tan Dun's Water Concerto (no offense to either of them), I now feel that a concerto for string quartet is not that blasphemous or out of the realm of possibility. Since I wasn't comfortable uploading just straight MuseScore MIDI string sounds onto YouTube, I stuck with the tried-and-true sheet music method overlaid with Yunchan Lim's recording with the Hungarian Radio Symphony, which, from internet discourse, generally seems to be the most entertaining performance:    • SCHUMANN Piano Concerto / Hungarian Radio ...   So, if there are any string players in the comments unhappy with voicing, playability, string crossings, or anything along those lines, please point them out before saying that this would never work. Otherwise, please enjoy Lim's recording and do your best to read along to my sheet music Sheet music (full score and individual parts) here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folder... I.
