Genie ZeroOps is an autonomous background agent that detects, diagnoses, and proposes fixes for data pipeline and ML model failures—in minutes, not hours. Running inside Databricks, Genie ZeroOps continuously monitors your data and AI assets for problems: missing data, schema drift, job failures, and model performance degradation. When it detects an issue, it traces the root cause using Unity Catalog lineage and investigates with full access to platform observability (logs, metrics, events). Then it generates a code fix, tests it safely in a zero-copy sandbox with network isolation, and presents the findings to you for approval. You stay in control: deploy the fix from the recommendation, or dive deeper with the agent through natural language conversation. Typical scenario: At night, a data pipeline fails silently. Instead of waking a data engineer to hunt through logs for hours, Genie ZeroOps detects the failure, identifies that an upstream table stopped receiving new data, generates the fix, and delivers a full diagnostic in minutes.
