TESTIFY. | Psalm 145:1–7 | Week 70 THAHW Monday Bible Study

Today we are reading one of David’s songs of praise, he keeps vowing that if anything he will proclaim the Lord’s goodness for everyone around him to know. He uses different action verbs in the psalm: praise, bless, exalt, proclaim, commend, extol, declare, and the hebrew words for these words’ meanings include: to adore, to invoke praise upon, to speak well of, to lift high, to raise up, to elevate, to celebrate, to shine forth someone’s excellence, to celebrate loudly, to acclaim, to celebrate, to commend with enthusiasm, to ponder deeply, to speak of, to announce, to make known, to bring out into the open, to gush forth, to pour out like a spring, etc. In verse 6 he shows how testifying about the Lord’s deeds introduces the knowledge and consciousness of God from one generation to another, and then they will begin to do the same and the Name of the Lord will be known for generations to come. I think about it how people when they find out their favorite skin care products or a makoenya stall or a specific car’s engine, they just cannot wait to show or tell us because they are so in love kore wow. What more the Gospel man, it is literally God’s power unto salvation yk? Like plug usss😭😭😭 I am a biiiiiiig fan of testimonies but I have some question: Is there a wrong way to testify?
