Our First Real Work on the Bulgaria Homestead

We finally started the first real work on our Bulgaria homestead. After moving to rural Bulgaria, the plan was to slowly start setting up the land, the future home office, the workshop, and the first useful spaces. But before we can move forward with everything, there are practical jobs that need to happen first. In this episode, we start preparing the concrete base for the backup generator, deal with trees around the property, explore the forest, and find a tiny bird along the way. This is still the very beginning of the homestead journey. Nothing is perfect yet, and most of it is new for me — especially the DIY and concrete work. But every small job gets us one step closer to building a more self-sufficient life in Bulgaria. Expect real progress, mistakes, tools, concrete, trees, countryside life, and the honest reality of starting a homestead from the ground up.
