I saw some videos released on the web, and later that horrible news hit the main italian TV channels... But before I can say anything more let me talk about my experiences in Bucharest. We played the Colectiv Club in February 2015 during a tour with Eluveitie and we had the pleasure to meet a lot of awesome guys and girls; that was an unforgettable night, the last and maybe the best of the tour. We totally fell in love with Bucharest in June 2015 when we came back to play the great Metalhead Meeting Festival: there we ran into Adrian Rugina, spoke to him for a few minutes before the soundcheck, enough to understand his kindness and his love for his work. During the festival days we housed in a B&B that stands in front of the Colectiv: so let's say that the Club was our landmark in Bucharest. In this city we found entertainment, friends, happiness and incomparable hospitality, probably the best treatment that a band and tourist can imagine. You can now understand our attachment to the city and to the people that lives there. Bucharest is 1800km away from Pisa (our hometown), but that day of October I felt like I was there with you, with all the friends that we met and also with those we did not meet to share a little part of the grief. I can not hide that some weeks later I dreamt about returning to the Colectiv after the tragedy, and in my sleep I imagined it as a cold and empty place, with no stage, and only a pale light on the bar. With this re-arrangement of the song "Atonement" we salute Goodbye to Gravity and the brothers and sisters who passed away that night, and we will send a warm embrace to all the friends from Bucharest, wishing a fast recovery to the injured ones. May this gift bring relief to your hearts.
