LIVING IN VICTORIA - shaping my new board + roadtripping

Fresh out of the shaping bay, my new shortboard from the Ryder (@tweedie_boards) literally picked the colour on the way to the shaping bay after 4 months of changing my mind but love it we call her CHERRY BOMB and she’s the best thing you’ve ever seen. We surfed until we couldn’t feel our toes (literally — Victorian water is a different kind of cold), fuelled ourselves with way too many bakery stops, and camped our way down the coast. Somehow between the freezing dawn surfs, soggy wetsuits, and salt-burnt faces, it all felt like the perfect baptism for this board. Chaos, beauty, and a lot of shivering. 11/10 would do it all again.
