Gulf Air Shameful Treatment of Umrah Pilgrims & Missing Luggage Scandal

In this investigative report, we expose the severe negligence, unfair policies, and mistreatment by Gulf Air towards Umrah pilgrims returning from Jeddah Airport. Despite holding valid boarding passes, tickets, and travel documents, passengers were deliberately stranded under the false pretext of a canceled flight, while other passengers on the same schedule were allowed to depart. Stranded for days at Jeddah Airport without hotel accommodation or basic facilities, these pilgrims were subjected to extreme mental and physical distress. To make matters worse, Gulf Air refused to accommodate them on alternative return flights despite having received full payment for return tickets. Abandoned by the airline, the pilgrims were forced to spend their own money to purchase expensive new tickets with AirSial, landing in Sialkot and traveling all the way back to Attock by road. To add insult to injury, their luggage remains missing even on the fourth day. We demand immediate strict action and accountability from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and the Ministry of Aviation against Gulf Air to ensure justice and the safe return of the missing luggage.
