Planning an Udaipur trip? In this complete Udaipur travel vlog, we spend 4 days exploring the City of Lakes, from the royal City Palace and Lake Pichola to the beautiful ghats, old city streets, local markets, traditional art and authentic Rajasthani food. If you're looking for an Udaipur travel guide, Udaipur itinerary, Udaipur trip plan, things to do in Udaipur, or wondering how much a Udaipur trip costs, this video will give you our complete experience and honest opinion. We travelled from Mumbai to Udaipur by AC sleeper bus, stayed in the Old City and explored Udaipur over 4 days. From famous tourist attractions to local experiences, food and places that we personally loved (and a few things that we didn't), this is our real Udaipur travel experience. 📍 PLACES TO VISIT IN UDAIPUR • City Palace Udaipur • Lake Pichola • Bagore Ki Haveli • Gangaur Ghat • Jagdish Temple • Hathipole Market • Sajjangarh / Monsoon Palace • Shilpgram • Karni Mata Temple • Karni Mata Ropeway • Saheliyon Ki Bari • Udaipur Old City 🗓️ OUR 4-DAY UDAIPUR ITINERARY DAY 1 – Lake Pichola & Old City Lake Pichola → Boat Ride → Bagore Ki Haveli → Gangaur Ghat → Rajasthani Dinner DAY 2 – City Palace & Local Udaipur Jagdish Temple → City Palace → Old City → Hathipole Market → Local Art & Havelis → Gangaur Ghat DAY 3 – Monsoon Palace & Shilpgram Sajjangarh / Monsoon Palace → Shilpgram → Lake Pichola → Waterfront Dinner DAY 4 – Udaipur Before Leaving Karni Mata Temple → Ropeway → Saheliyon Ki Bari → Lunch → Mumbai 💰 UDAIPUR TRIP BUDGET Our total Udaipur trip cost was around ₹25,000 for two people, excluding shopping. For shopping, we recommend keeping an additional ₹5,000–₹7,000 depending on what you want to buy. We also share the actual costs of transportation, accommodation, sightseeing and food throughout the video. 🚌 MUMBAI TO UDAIPUR We travelled from Mumbai to Udaipur by AC sleeper bus because we couldn't get suitable train tickets. Bus fare was approximately ₹1,500 per person one way. 🏨 WHERE WE STAYED IN UDAIPUR We stayed at Kotra Haveli in Udaipur Old City. Staying in the Old City made exploring Udaipur much easier because several major attractions were within walking distance. 🍛 UDAIPUR FOOD One of the best parts of our Udaipur trip was the food. During the journey we tried Laal Maas, Dal Baati Churma, local snacks and Parsa Maas — and Parsa Maas ended up being our favourite dish of the entire trip. ❤️ IS UDAIPUR WORTH VISITING? After spending 4 days in Udaipur, our answer is YES. The old lanes, beautiful havelis, royal palaces, lakes, ghats, local artists and Rajasthani culture make Udaipur a very different experience. But this isn't just a typical Udaipur travel guide. We also share what we genuinely liked, what we didn't find worth the money, transportation experiences, food and our honest opinion about the places we visited. So if you're planning a Udaipur trip, especially a Udaipur trip from Mumbai, watch the complete video before planning your itinerary.
