The God Who Keeps His Covenant | Every Promise Fulfilled in Jesus Christ

The God Who Fulfills His Covenant From creation to Noah, Abraham, the Exodus, Sinai, David, the prophets, the cross, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Scripture tells one unfolding story: God never abandons His covenant. Humanity failed again and again, but God remained faithful. When we could not return to Him, He came to us in Jesus Christ. Through the cross, Christ bore our sin and opened a new and living way to God. Through His resurrection, death was defeated. Through the Holy Spirit, God now dwells among His people. The promise given to Abraham, the King promised to David, and the hope of the new covenant all find their fulfillment in Jesus Christ. And the story is still moving toward its final fulfillment—the return of Christ, the new heavens and the new earth, where God will dwell with His people forever. Until that day, this is our confession: You are our God. We are Your people. From everlasting to everlasting, You are the God who fulfills His covenant.
