Mathangeswara Shivalinga | Attain Brahma Jnana | 84 Shivalingas of Mahakala Vana #60 | Siddhaguru

Discover the sacred story of Sri Matangeswara, the 60th Shivalinga among the 84 Mahakalavana Shivalingas of Ujjain, explained in Telugu by Siddhaguru Sri Ramanananda Maharshi. How did a donkey’s words change Matanga’s life? Why did Lord Indra explain that intense penance alone was insufficient for Brahma Jnana? How did worship at Mahakalavana lead Matanga to Lord Shiva’s grace? In this discourse, Siddhaguru narrates the journey of Matanga, the son of Sugati—from an encounter that revealed his past actions to his determined pursuit of spiritual realization. Following Indra’s guidance, Matanga visits the sacred Shivalinga described in the narrative as established by Lord Brahma, east of Sri Siddheshwara, and worships it with flowers. The central teaching explores spiritual attainment beyond birth: the importance of noble qualities, self-discipline, meditation, freedom from ego and direct realization of the Divine. Spiritual blessings described in this sacred narrative include: ✦ Destruction of sins — Papa Nashanam ✦ Fulfilment of heartfelt wishes — Ishtakamya Siddhi ✦ Progress towards Brahma Jnana and spiritual realization ✦ Inspiration for meditation, yajna and charity ✦ Attainment of Brahmaloka Siddhaguru also explains the importance of spiritual readiness: darshan brings merit and guidance on the path, while realization requires inner transformation and divine grace. #Matangeshwara #Siddhaguru #Mahakalavana #84Shivalingas #BrahmaJnana #LordShiva #Ujjain #TeluguSpiritualDiscourse #RamananandaMaharshi #OmNamahShivaya https://maps.app.goo.gl/VqxQVRpPRtN6o...
