The refreshed version is expected to feature a more modern exterior design, with two reported body-length options of 4,990 mm and 5,055 mm, a width of approximately 1,850 mm, and a wheelbase ranging from 2,850 mm to 2,870 mm. Its redesigned front end features a large vertical-bar grille, distinctive C-shaped lighting elements, sharp angular air intakes, and a sophisticated sedan profile. Under the hood, the updated Avalon is expected to offer several powertrain options depending on the market. These may include a conventional petrol engine producing around 150 horsepower, along with hybrid configurations featuring either a 2.0-liter or 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. The hybrid systems are reported to deliver combined outputs ranging from approximately 184 hp to 245 hp. There are also rumors of a more powerful Hybrid Max configuration producing up to 340 horsepower and more than 400 lb-ft of torque, although this higher-performance version has not been officially confirmed.
