Sunday Service August 30th, 2026 TEXT: Exodus 14:10–14, Exodus 13:17–18, Exodus 14:3–4, Proverbs 3:5–6, Hebrews 10:35, Hebrews 11:1, Daniel 11:32, Psalm 103:7, Isaiah 55:8–9, 2 Timothy 2:3 POINTS 1. Just because the storm is raging does not mean God has left the scene. Just because God does not stop it does not mean He does not see it. Even if the devil started the storm, God can still use it. Rather than the storm destroying you, it can take you to the other side. 2. Sometimes God gives us faith to go, and sometimes He gives us grace to stay. When you stay, you will see how God works out your salvation. Staying builds strength and stamina. God can sustain you through the situation and build your spiritual resume. 3. If God started the fight, He has the ability to fight it and win. The fight at the Red Sea was intentionally allowed by God as a show of His power. When God is fighting for you, you can hold your peace. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace. 4. Fear comes when we look at situations based on our ability instead of God's ability. Sometimes you have to look back to look forward. Remember what God has done in the past. The God who delivered before can do it again. Do not throw away your confidence in God. Your confidence in God in the days of trouble is an asset. 5. Do not allow anxiety and stress to make you cry hopelessly. If we can trust cars, airplanes, and other things, we can trust God. Trials should be seen as a classroom, not just as a problem. 6. Trials test the knowledge of God that you have learned. When your back is against the wall, it is time to put into use what you know about God. In the process, God is developing you, preparing you, and building your character. 7. God's ways may be different from your ways, but His process is preparing you for the future. God may take you through a longer route because He is developing you. In the process, He is getting you ready for what you do not yet know. God builds you so that when you get there, you will not crash.
