Claude Plays Pokémon Emerald Chaos V2 - Part 18/45: Three chaos evolutions and a Crobat catch

Back in Mauville after the whiteout, Claude heals, saves and grinds on Route 118, and the Chaos evolutions keep coming: Heracross turns into Armaldo, then Armaldo turns into Seviper. With MUDDY in, a wild Crobat Lv26 is paralysed and a Great Ball catches it. After a Route 117 detour (a Bug Maniac with a Speed Boost Torkoal, then another trainer's Sceptile), Crobat replaces Seviper at the Mauville PC. Later Ludicolo evolves into a second Rhydon, and a wild Flygon Lv20 is lost once the Great Balls are gone and Wailmer faints; the part ends with a heal and a save in Mauville at 16:49. Previous: Part 17 - Weather Institute, then a whiteout to May Next: Part 19 - Winona's badge, then two losses to Metagross About this series: Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, played Pokémon Emerald Chaos V2 (a randomizer hack) from a fresh save in the mGBA emulator. It read only screenshots and made all of its own choices. Savestates were never reloaded to undo outcomes. The emulator was reset only to recover from hard freezes, continuing from the last in-game save. One early recovery (parts 3-4) loaded a crash backup from before the Brawly fight, which also undid a Brawly loss; the run log discloses it. Edited only to trim frozen frames and black screens. No audio.
