Gorai to Uttan. One bike. One camera. One beautiful stretch of Mumbai. 🏍️🌴 Come along for a simple ride from Gorai Village to Our Lady of the Sea Church (OLTS), Uttan, filmed using my 360° camera and presented in a traditional 16:9 format. There isn't a complicated itinerary in this video. No big tourist attraction. No planned adventure. Just a bike ride through the roads, villages and surroundings of Gorai and Uttan — two places that have a very different feel from the Mumbai that most people know. And that's exactly what I wanted to capture. As the city gives way to narrower village roads, greenery, homes, local life and the coastal atmosphere of Uttan, the ride becomes less about simply getting from one place to another and more about enjoying the journey. 🏍️ Starting point: Gorai Village 📍 Destination: Our Lady of the Sea Church, Uttan 🎥 Camera: 360° Camera 📺 Video format: 16:9 00:00 Gorai Village 10:04 Uttan Village 🌴 GORAI TO UTTAN Gorai and Uttan are part of a side of Mumbai that can sometimes feel worlds away from the busy city. There are village roads, greenery, traditional homes, churches, local communities and the unmistakable atmosphere of Mumbai's coastal belt. This ride takes you from Gorai Village towards Uttan, ending at Our Lady of the Sea Church. If you've travelled through this part of Mumbai before, you might recognize some of the roads and places along the way. And if you've never been here, hopefully this video gives you a little glimpse of what this part of the city looks and feels like. ⛪ OUR LADY OF THE SEA — UTTAN The destination of this ride is Our Lady of the Sea Church (OLTS), Uttan. Uttan has a strong Catholic heritage and a long-standing connection with the fishing and coastal communities of the area. For me, places like this aren't just destinations on Google Maps. They are places filled with people, stories, memories, faith and community. And sometimes, the best way to discover a place isn't by rushing through it. It's simply by taking the long way there. 🏍️🌊⛪ 🎥 WHY A 360° CAMERA? This ride was filmed using a 360° camera, which gives a different perspective compared to a regular action camera. Instead of simply pointing the camera in one direction, the camera captures the surroundings while I'm riding, allowing me to create a more immersive-looking ride video in 16:9. So sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. 🌊 A DIFFERENT SIDE OF MUMBAI When people think about Mumbai, they often think about: 🏙️ Skyscrapers 🚆 Local trains 🚗 Traffic 🌆 The city 🌃 Marine Drive 🏢 Crowded streets But there is another side. Villages. Green hills. Coastal roads. Fishing communities. Old churches. Quiet stretches of road. And places like Gorai and Uttan are part of that story. This video is just a small glimpse of it. ❤️ WELCOME TO UTTAN Whether you're from Mumbai, grew up around Gorai or Uttan, are part of the Catholic community, or you've simply discovered this video while looking for places to explore around Mumbai... Welcome! I hope you enjoy the ride. If you know the roads and places featured in this video, let me know in the comments. And if you've never been to Gorai or Uttan before: Would you take this ride? 🏍️ 📍 ROUTE Gorai Village → Uttan → Our Lady of the Sea Church 📍 Gorai 📍 Uttan 📍 Our Lady of the Sea Church 📍 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India If you enjoyed this simple ride, LIKE 👍 the video and SUBSCRIBE for more videos exploring places, people, Catholic communities, Beyblade, adventures and stories from Mumbai and beyond.
