Dispositie;
Meanwhile, I have been playing the 1753 Hinsz organ in the Buitenkerk for ten years now, with a great deal of pleasure. For a few years, however, there has also been another incredibly beautiful organ in the church, built by Maarten Vos. I wanted to put this little gem in the spotlight for once, as I have immense admiration for artists like Maarten who possess a huge passion for beauty of sound. Ultimately, that is what music is all about. This instrument is regularly used for concerts in the summer series and beyond, and is exceptionally well-suited for early music. The organ is based on the positive organ design found in Central Europe during the 1630–1750 period. Maarten sought beauty of sound in a calm, natural wind — foot-blown — and wanted to make the instrument sound as natural as possible. By the way, a sister organ to this one can be found in the National Organ Museum in Elburg.
