Recently, I've been thinking about fun. Not in the book a vacation and buy something you've been wanting kind of way, but in the smaller, stranger ways life can suddenly become more enjoyable when you start paying attention. Lately, I've been experimenting with falling in love with the process of getting to the next thing instead of resenting where I am because I'm not there yet. And I have a sneaky suspicion that fun has something to do with it. So, in this cozy little conversation, I'm following that thread. Talking about finding fun in everyday life, feeling emotions without letting them lead you, getting overstimulated, wearing sunglasses to the gym, and learning to enjoy the process of being alive... not just the destination we're trying to reach.
