Police Officers Waiting at A and E. National agreements for fast track triage and one hour handovers

Here I review three key issues. Firstly fast track triage whereby detainees can go to the top of their triage group to reduce time waiting in A&E. Secondly a section 136 handover at hospital should be completed within one hour. Thirdly upon return to police custody the on duty HCP must assess the detainee.
