Naming and Launching Ceremony for the Sunflower Kamuy, LNG-fueled Ferry on Oarai-Tomakomai Route

One of LNG-fueled ferries that Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) ordered was named "Sunflower Kamuy". This video shows a naming and launching ceremony held at the Innoshima Shipyard (Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture) of Naikai Zosen Corporation on April 11, 2024. The vessel is scheduled to enter service in early 2025 on the late-night Oarai-Tomakomai route operated by MOL Sunflower Ltd.
