It is not a historical Gregorian composition or a prayer written by Saint Thérèse. 🙏 LATIN PRAYER In silentio noctis, cor meum ad Deum levatur. Lux quieta super me descendit, et anima mea requiescit. Sancta Teresia a Iesu Infante, duc me per viam parvam amoris. Cum cor meum timore gravatur, spem in meo corde accende. Duc me per viam amoris, duc me per viam pacis. Spem in meo corde accende, et mane mecum hac nocte. Sicut rosa in manibus tuis, sit oratio mea simplex. Parva verba, magna fiducia: Deus meus, in te confido. In te confido, Deus meus, in te confido hac nocte. In tua luce requiesco, in tua pace dormiam. Sancta Teresia, ora pro me, cum via longa mihi videtur. Admone me amoris Dei, qui etiam in nocte me custodit. Ora pro me, ora pro me, ut cor meum pacem inveniat. Ora pro me, ora pro me, ut spes mea numquam deficiat. Omnes curas meas tibi trado, Domine, antequam obdormiam. Mane iuxta eos quos amo, et dona nobis quietam noctem. In tua luce requiesco, in tua pace dormiam. Spem in meo corde accende, et mane mecum hac nocte. Sancta Teresia a Iesu Infante, duc me per viam parvam amoris. Deus meus, in te confido. In tua pace dormiam. In tua pace dormiam. In tua pace dormiam. Amen. 🙏 ENGLISH TRANSLATION In the silence of the night, my heart rises to God. A gentle light descends upon me, and my soul finds rest.
