Tales of Symphonia- Kratos 3 (Mania)

Sorry for occasional visual glitches and slowdown. This is an emulator, and an old laptop. Wahoo!! Not one but TWO videos of Kratos put out so quickly?!!? It's all the people want, cause he's such an attractive middle aged man with such a brooding attitude!! Forget my music, forget the other bosses, forget EVERYTHING, cause this is all the game is about!!! This is all LIFE is about in fact!!! Alright, bitterness aside, this isn't anywhere as daunting a fight as it seems if you grind up enough to defeat the optional bosses on Mania. I had the Kusanagi Blade from the third Sword Dancer fight which cuts through HPs super fast, the Claw Gauntlet that adds fifty strength, a Black Onyx, Holy Symbol, and lots of Red Lavender on Lloyd from grinding in Latheon Gorge. You really don't need any elemental charms for this battle; Kratos doesn't specialize in any particular element or strong magic. His magic, in fact, is very slow and easily dodged or guarded. A good strategy to open up the fight is- considering he's almost certain to cast a spell- to run in and start comboing. Rising Falcon is really good for leaping behind him and beginning another combo before he can turn around, but you can get caught on the edge of the battlefield; if that happens do your best to jump over him and perhaps draw him farther away from the edge. Hurricane Thrust is actually better than Double Demon Fang for sort of craning under guarding; i've found it useful for that throughout the game which is why you always see me using it. I just had DDF as my upB skill for this fight to grind up all my Demon skills, since I largely abandon the Skill after I get Sword Rain and Tiger Blade; Fierce Demon Fang is the only attack I really like in this branch. I don't know what else to say... luckily you can heal, and honestly popping Gels is quicker for healing than waiting for your healer, you get invulnerability frames like if you got knocked down, and if you keep everyone healed than Raine can stay attacking with her incredible magic. I gave her the Heart of Chaos because of the INT boost and she is phenomenal!!!
