In the heart of Downtown Oakland, we view the Red, Yellow and Orange Line trains arriving and departing this blue-brick schemed station.
This station is a transfer station for the northbound trains (which are the Orange Line to Richmond on Platform 1 and Yellow Line to Antioch on Platform 3) as seen twice here. We witness the trains arriving and see the transition action to and from these two trains.
Of course, we can't forget the Red Line that shares tracks with the Orange Line north to Richmond and the Yellow Line south to SFO (prior to 9pm) and Millbrae (after 9pm).
Like, the neighboring red-bricked 12th St/Oakland City Center station, Platform 2 handles the southbound trains serving all three lines. The Orange Line continues south to OAK/Berryessa and the Yellow and Red Line trains head to San Francisco and into the Peninsula.
