McDowell Mountain Frenzy 50 Miler in Arizona

This is my 9th ultra trail race by @aravaiparunning a 50 miler in McDowell Regional Park. Met a fellow ultra runner @ultrasonia at the first aid station. Weather was cool and breezy, heated up a little, but ice was available. Had a spectacular view climbing Thompson Peak at 3,984ft high, we started climbing at 31 miles in the race, brutal and worth it! Running on tired legs this was 2 of 3 races I signed up for The Desert Runner Series Ultra Plus. This is the second 50 miler in the race and in 2 weeks we finish up with a 50K. Finished happy and healthy and goal to completing the Desert Series is one race closer.
