Wancho Museum: The House of the Story Cum Seed Bank The Wancho Museum, also known as “The House of the Story Cum Seed Bank,” has been constructed at Kamhua Noknu Village under the initiative of Shri Jatwang Wangsa, with the cooperation and support of the villagers of Kamhua Noknu. The newly constructed museum aims to preserve and showcase the rich culture, traditions, heritage, and historical materials of the Wancho community for future generations. It will also serve as a valuable source of knowledge for the younger generation, especially at a time when many traditional cultural practices and customs are gradually being forgotten. Speaking to the media, Shri Jatwang Wangsa informed that various traditional cultural materials and artefacts have been collected from Wancho artisans and community members for display and preservation in the museum. The initiative is expected to play an important role in preserving Wancho cultural heritage and creating greater awareness among the younger generation about their traditional way of life.
