THE PLAN FROM THIS VIDEO
Pace: about 2 lbs a week. That gets you to 30 lbs around week 15 and leaves about 11 weeks of room for slow weeks, travel and health problems.
Calories: about 1,000 a day below what your body burns. This free calculator estimates what you burn: https://tdeecalculator.net
Protein: 1.5 to 2 g per kg of body weight, or about 1 g per pound.
Food: whole, single-ingredient foods like lean meats, fish, rice, potatoes and avocados, and a protein shake for breakfast.
Steps: 10,000 a day. Normal daily life at home gives most men about 2,000 to 3,000, so add an hour of walking.
Training: 3 to 4 strength sessions a week, each muscle group twice a week, plus 1 or 2 low-intensity cardio sessions of 20 to 60 minutes. Put them in your calendar in advance.
Tracking: weigh yourself every 2 to 3 days, in the morning before eating, and watch the average, not the single day.
