TWO Fairlies at Porthmadog & DELAYED at Tan-y-Bwlch!!!! Ffestiniog Railway.22nd August 2025

A visit to the Ffestiniog Railway and a ride on the Woodland Wanderer (Porthmadog to Tan- y- Bwlch). Starting at Porthmadog, seeing the the Mountain Spirit leave for Blaenau Ffestiniog,before boarding our train, The Woodland Wanderer to Tan-y-Bwlch. Good choice today, as the Mountain Spirit was stranded at Blaenau and the passengers had to be bussed back to Porthmadog. ( details in the video). At Tan-y-Bwlch a lovely walk down to the lake,then returning to the station, to find our return train would be delayed due to waiting for the' fire train' being sent up from Boston Lodge to help with a fire further up the line. 22nd August 2025 #fwhr #steamlocomotive #porthmadog #ffestiniog
