Manure Lords got a huge new update! Let’s make a Cow empire to test it.

Manor Lords has a huge new farming update, so naturally I decided the sensible way to test it was to begin building a completely unreasonable Bovine Empire. Starting with just five families, we need to establish a new settlement, survive the early food shortages and build the entire agricultural system that our future herd will depend on. Along the way, we explore the new rural perks, seasonal crop rotations, fertiliser and the magnificent new Dung Hill before turning oats into animal feed and preparing our first proper cow pastures. This playthrough uses the latest Manor Lords farming beta, where crop rotation has been reworked and livestock manure can now be collected and turned into fertiliser for the fields. There are not terribly many cows just yet — but by the end of today, the machinery needed to create something thoroughly ridiculous is finally starting to come together. So grab yourself a drink, get comfortable and settle in for another relaxing Manor Lords ramble as we begin our journey towards bovine brilliance. If you enjoy the build, do leave a like, let me know what you think of the new farming system, and consider subscribing for more cosy medieval ramblings.
