In this video, we're taking a quiet walk through Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary, one of Mass Audubon's flagship sanctuaries in Natick, Massachusetts. Stepping into the forest under a brilliant canopy of late autumn colors, with soft fallen leaves beneath every step, was a truly moving experience. 🍂✨ Broadmoor features over 8 miles of scenic trails winding through vibrant woodlands, peaceful wetlands, and along the Charles River, offering breathtaking scenery around every turn. From serene paths along Indian Brook and a scenic 430-foot boardwalk over the marsh to historic mill sites and a charming seasonal waterfall, it's a peaceful haven for reconnecting with nature. 🥾 Featured Trails at Broadmoor All Persons Trail (0.6 miles): A fully accessible trail featuring a 430-foot wooden boardwalk over the marsh, turtle-watching spots, and an audio tour. Mill Pond & Marsh Trail (0.4 miles): A fan-favorite loop past ponds, streams, and a seasonal waterfall. Look out for otters, muskrats, wood ducks, and herons! Charles River Trail (1-mile loop): A scenic trail following the river edge for half a mile, offering vibrant summer flowers and rich foliage in fall.
