My Restart at 64: From Snowbird Commander to YouTube Creator

Can you restart your life at 64? I decided to find out. After spending just over 25 years as a pilot in the Canadian Air Force, including the privilege of serving with and later leading the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, I found myself looking for a completely different challenge. At 64 years old, I started a YouTube channel from scratch. Two weeks later, I'm sharing what I've learned—not just about YouTube, but about starting over, embracing uncertainty, and discovering that it's never too late to build something new. In this video I talk about: Why I decided to restart at 64 The biggest surprises from my first two weeks on YouTube The lessons I've learned so far The mistakes I've made Why I believe experience is an advantage when learning something new This channel is about aviation, leadership, storytelling, and lifelong learning. I'll continue sharing inside stories from the Snowbirds, explain aviation in ways anyone can understand, and document the journey of building a YouTube channel one video at a time. If you've ever wondered whether you're too old to start something new, I hope this video gives you the confidence to take that first step. I'd love to hear from you in the comments: What would you restart if age wasn't a factor? If you'd like to follow the journey, I'd be honoured to have you subscribe.
