On this sunny spring afternoon, we begin our walk at Sydney Town Hall, where a special event is taking place on the front steps. The streets are lively, with light rail trams passing by and people moving between shops, cafes, and bus stops. Fresh green leaves on the trees show that spring has arrived, adding a nice touch of colour to the busy city atmosphere. Right across the street stands the grand Queen Victoria Building (QVB), with its famous statue of Queen Victoria and her little Skye Terrier guarding the wishing well. From here, we continue towards George Street and Market Street, where Sydney Tower rises high above the city skyline. At its base, we enjoy a surprise cultural performance with traditional Korean drumming and dancing, drawing a big crowd and filling the air with energy. The lively performance invites people to join in, turning the afternoon into a fun community celebration. Along Pitt Street, one of Sydney’s best shopping areas, the lights of the stores begin to glow as evening slowly arrives. As we walk further along King Street and towards Martin Place, the city transforms from day to night. Heavy traffic, glowing shopfronts, and the soft evening light create a beautiful cityscape. The historic buildings and modern towers are highlighted by their lights, giving Sydney CBD a unique charm at sunset. We finish the walk at Martin Place, where flower stalls and street life keep the city buzzing into the evening.
