Vivaldi's Autumn, but the orchestra got replaced by a heavy metal band.
Venice, 1725. A red-haired priest publishes four violin concertos about the seasons, each with a sonnet describing what you're supposed to hear. Autumn's first movement is peasants celebrating the harvest with song and dance, drinking too much wine until they stumble and fall asleep. Three hundred years later the harvest dance becomes galloping twin guitars, the drunken stumbling becomes a swaggering half-time breakdown, and the party never ends.
Third track of Heavy Metal Classics.
Music: Antonio Vivaldi, "Autumn" (L'autunno), The Four Seasons, RV 293, I. Allegro (public domain).
