Texas Water Safari 2025 - WHAT COULD GO WRONG

Follow along our journey of The Texas Water Safari. This race is nicknamed  the world’s toughest canoe race — a nonstop 260-mile journey from San Marcos, Texas to the Gulf with a 100 hour time limit. This documentary follows our team’s attempt to conquer it. What started as a race quickly became a fight against the river itself. Along the way we faced a compromised boat hull, flash flood warnings, endless log jams, exhaustion, and a cascade of problems we never could have planned for. This film isn’t just about paddling. It’s about problem-solving, resilience, and adapting when everything goes wrong. Whether you’re a paddler, an endurance athlete, or someone who appreciates stories of grit and persistence, this is our experience of the Texas Water Safari — unfiltered and hard-earned!
