Takashi Yoshimatsu AND BIRDS ARE STILL

St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra performs a piece created by Japanese classical music composer - Takashi Yoshimatsu. For Takashi Yoshimatsu, birds mean many things. A gateway to view with the "mind eye" the wonder and erosion of the natural world. As messengers, birds give Yoshimatsu a divine mission "of searching for new wings with which to fly from the chaotic woods/world of contemporary atonal music." Takashi Yoshimatsu is also well known in the anime world for the remake of the soundtrack for AstroBoy. Performers: St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra #japan #takashiyoshimatsu #anime #animemsic
