Takashi Yoshimatsu AND BIRDS ARE STILL

🌳 Takashi Yoshimatsu – “And birds are still” 🎻 Performed by: St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra 🎥 Project: The Sounding City "And birds are still" by Takashi Yoshimatsu is a meditative musical journey into a world of silence and serenity—where nature and sound blend into a single breathing landscape. In this performance, recorded in Bernardinai Garden, the orchestra’s delicate tones become part of the environment, as birds, trees, and music speak the same language. This video is the first installment in the artistic cycle “The Sounding City”, created to celebrate Vilnius as the European Green Capital of 2025. The project invites us to see the city’s green spaces as a living cultural fabric—where every sound creates a meaningful connection between people, art, and nature. 🎬 Watch the full Sounding City series here: 👉 YouTube playlist:    • Skambantis miestas / Sounding city   #TakashiYoshimatsu #AndBirdsAreStill #StChristopherOrchestra #TheSoundingCity #Vilnius2025 #EuropeanGreenCapital
