Morning Prayer to Trust God: Pour Out Your Heart to Him (Psalm 62:8)

If you woke up this morning with something heavy on your heart, something you haven't said out loud to anyone, you don't have to hold it by yourself today. This gentle spoken morning prayer holds on to Psalm 62:8: "Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us." We bring God our hopes and our fears, the prayers that still seem unanswered, and the questions we can't answer, and with Psalm 56:3 we choose to trust Him: "When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you." We ask Him to be our refuge today, to go before us, and to grow a quieter, deeper trust in us, like roots that hold even when the wind blows. Let it play as your morning begins, breathe slowly, and pray along. He's never too busy, and He never turns you away. Our goal is simple: save one soul at a time.
