I remember long ago when I had a PS1 and I got this game because I enjoyed the first game despite that stupid garage part they force you to do with the stunts, once past that the game is blast. Well, I did try the first Driver for a few minutes a little while ago but I really don't have the patience nor that kind of skill with keyboard and mouse to pull off all those moves in less than a minute, so I gave up, decided to give Driver 2 a second chance. Oh, the first chance those many years ago, I got rid of it real fast, hated the game, don't remember how many missions I played, but the game was terrible compared to the first. So I know I am not going to play it well because of control issues, but I have keyboard and mouse set to the best that I can for comfort and hopefully playability. I drive like a maniac to a point where I have to switch cars, and I realized, I don't know how to, can get in just fine but getting out requires some extra button to make that work, I try a bunch of them, and time runs out with me parked next to that other car. What I really hate in many of these old games, you go into the options screen and there isn't any options to change controls in game, so I had to exit back to title screen and explore it from there. Okay, so to get into a car, triangle, easy enough, but to get out up+triangle, if only I had more time in game to figure that out I would have eventually gotten it. Okay so starting over, screw the story crap, back to driving, make it there again and yes, this time able to get out of the car, only I had a bit of trouble moving my overly fast yet blocky moving character around to actually get to the door of the car. Mission accomplished, next I have to chase after another car, not hit 'im, just stay with him, done. Okay, harder one now, this time keeping up with a train, okay, so this isn't happening, my skills at driving using a keyboard aren't too good, also accidently lost my mouse off screen, and this one has heavy slow down which if I remember right were a problem with the actual disc on a PS1 as well. After a handful of tries, and my 30 minute recording limit nearly reached that I try to keep my videos to, I gave up, not worth putting more time into.
