Great Sin, Great Grace, Great Rescue

In this sermon from the series Jonah: The God Who Won’t Let Go, Pastor Joshua Kennon steps back to look at the whole book of Jonah through three gospel truths: great sin, great grace, and great rescue. Jonah’s story is not just about a runaway prophet, a great fish, or the city of Nineveh. It is a story about our sin, God’s pursuing mercy, and the rescue that comes only from the Lord. From Jonah 2:9 to Ephesians 2:1–10, we are reminded that salvation is not something we earn, achieve, or accomplish for ourselves. Salvation comes from the LORD. Whether you are running from God, weighed down by guilt, struggling to show mercy to others, or needing to be reminded of the grace of Jesus Christ, this message points us back to the good news: Jesus lived for us, died for our sins, rose again, and calls us to repent, believe, and follow Him. #Jonah #JonahSermon #SalvationComesFromTheLord #Gospel #Grace #Ephesians2 #ButGod #ChristianSermon #PastorJoshuaKennon #FreeWillBaptist Series: Jonah: The God Who Won’t Let Go Preacher: Joshua Kennon Keywords: jonah sermon, the god who won’t let go, jonah 2:9, salvation comes from the lord, great sin great grace great rescue, god’s mercy in jonah, jonah and the gospel, ephesians 2 sermon, but god sermon, grace greater than sin
