8 Days in Iceland with a toddler: West Coast, Golden Circle, South Coast

Finally felt like our son (who is 3 y/o) can do a trip with more driving. We chose to do a nature trip in Iceland and we had the best time! Even while driving to different destinations, the views during the journey were incredible. What a beautiful country, and definitely not our last time visiting! We had 3 base homes during the trip: 2 nights at Grundarfjörður: to explore Snæfellsnes peninsula/West coast 2 nights at Selfoss: to explore the Golden Circle 3 nights at Vik: to explore the South Coast We thought we spaced out our travels and accommodations pretty well. We did not feel rushed, and we just went with the flow depending on the weather!
