Revisiting Acts 1:1-11 with Dr. Michael Heiser

In this Grounded Flashback, we revisit Dr. Michael Heiser’s study of Acts 1:1–11 from the Naked Bible Podcast. Heiser shows how the opening of Acts continues the Old Testament story of the Kingdom, the restoration of Israel, the coming of the Holy Spirit, and God’s mission to reclaim the nations. Acts is not simply the story of how the Church began—it reveals what the risen King is doing through His people.
