Revisiting Acts 2: 1-21 with Dr. Michael Heiser

In this Grounded Flashback, we continue Dr. Michael Heiser’s study of Acts with Acts 1:12–26. Heiser examines the decision to replace Judas, what qualified someone to be an apostle, how God works through human participation, and why restoring the number of apostles to twelve was important before Pentecost. What appears to be a simple leadership decision is deeply connected to Israel, the Kingdom, and the larger biblical story.
