Something Woke Us Up at 2AM on the Mogollon Rim...

Something woke us up around 2AM while camping just below the Mogollon Rim… and it turned what we thought would be a relaxing night into one of the creepiest camping experiences we’ve ever had. In this video, we start the day fishing at Bear Canyon Lake before heading down AZ-260 and turning onto Control Road 64 to find a dispersed campsite for the night. The spot looked perfect, quiet, secluded, and surrounded by tall pines. Then the middle of the night happened. We were both awakened by strange sounds outside the tent that we still can’t fully explain. We didn’t get an actual recording of what we heard, so any recreated audio in this video is clearly labeled as a dramatization using sound effects to get as close as possible to what we remember. Was it wildlife? Something else in the forest? Or did we hear what people around Arizona call the Mogollon Monster? You decide.
