‪@rethinkingjesus‬ Said Doctrine Came Later, So I Proved It Wasn't: Using Only The Gospels. "Jesus forgave people before He went to the cross. It's like a statement." He said that to me halfway through a three and a half hour conversation, and I didn't have an answer for him. Not on the day. He believes the entire doctrinal structure of Christianity was bolted on after Jesus... by Paul, by the councils. So I set myself a challenge and I didn't tell him I was doing it. Could I preach the whole gospel: sin, judgment, the cross, forgiveness, resurrection, all of it: using nothing but the four Gospels? No epistles. No creeds. No systematic theology. Only what Jesus said. I got most of it. I missed the middle. This video shows you both, and it gives him the answer I owed him. ONE RULE Every passage here is from Matthew, Mark, Luke or John.
